I've accidentally sold items to the Merchant that I wanted to keep in the first place ...it gets annoying. I propose having an ability to "lock" an item from having it sold, traded, dropped, etc.

I have a specific bag that is always for non-sell items. Then you can unclick that bag in the merchant window to disable it from selling

It's not the solution you asked for but it works all the same

I knew something like this would happen to me eventually.. and.. it did.. I just accidentally sold my entire stack of silver dye to the merchant, because of a finger cramp that caused me to double click....

perfect fix would be a buy back feature for the last item sold.

I also use the bag trick. Plus, I never sell from my Storage

That's what I do. Or put it in storage.

Keep it away from the stuff you want to sell. There are plenty of ways to do this. But mistakes happen it's part of the game.
